Neuroradiology block and bone block expectations
REQUIRED: Be prepared.
This is key to success in this new format trial for two lecture blocks.
WHEN: The neuroradiology block and bone block require preparation and participation. This will not simply be lecture time.
READ BEFORE CLASS: The before class assignment will be notes and a journal article. This material will not be reviewed in class. There will be a short quiz on the material at the beginning of class. The material in the reading will then be use in a small group discussion or small group hands on imaging workshop.
QUIZ: 3 to 5 questions simply to assure reading assignment has been done and student is ready to participate in small group discussion or workshop.
ONLINE: radforward.com will post the before class assignment
BYOD: Bring your own device. We will need one tablet or laptop per 3-4 students. Tablets are preferred.
TIME: The class time will only be two hours 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
FORMAT: Small group discuss images on ipads/laptops, discuss scenarios, discuss journal article, learn radiology jargon in reports
